Our Story

We have been involved with Forever since September 2003, initially as a way to make a small additional income from recommending the products to others. We come from very varied backgrounds.  Steve is a horse-riding instructor, holding the British Horse Society Assistant Instructor qualification (BHSAI).  Sam has a background in insurance, having worked in all aspects, including customer services and more recently in sales.

As we started to work more with Forever, we soon saw a way to develop a business of our own that could provide us with the kind of lifestyle that we had only ever dreamed about. How many years has your company been trading?
Just over 30 years – we had our 30th anniversary in May 2008. We currently trade in over 130 countries worldwide.

What type of selling is involved?
It is more about recommending the products than selling them. You can do product parties if you want to, but not essential. None of this is done through party plan. You do not need to do catalogue drops. It is far more based around using the products, recommending them to others and talking to people that you meet in everyday life than having to organise parties etc.

What training and support is offered?
FLP have actually been awarded the Investors in People certification for their training and support. This was achieved in under 14 weeks and members of FLP now teach others how to achieve the standards. There is a very comprehensive range of training available, via centres around the country which take place during the day, during the evening and at weekends, on the internet, by telephone, from your upline support and you can now download training sessions onto your iPod, so you can fit it in whenever and however you want. Some examples of the training include Product training, Customer Care and Support training, Networking Skills training, Coaching training and much more.

What are the basic initial commission rates?
On the first level of the FLP marketing plan, you will receive a 30% profit on all products sold along with a 5% bonus payment each month, based on the retail value of your entire team’s activity. This then increases as you move up the marketing plan, up to 18% bonus. Once you reach a higher level on the plan, you will receive royalty payments based on your team along with many other incentives.

What products/services do you provide to sell?
The FLP range is based on high quality aloe vera and beehive products and covers health, nutrition, personal care, skincare and cosmetics, animal care and weight management. The range is continually expanding and FLP are world leaders in growing and producing aloe vera. What can someone joining your company realistically expect to earn?
Quite simply – whatever they choose. If they want an extra £100 a month, it can be achieved. If they want an extra £500 a month, this can be achieved. If they want more – it is achievable. As already stated, there are distributors earning very substantial 6 figure incomes within the UK. It is really down to the individual to decide what they want to achieve. This is not a ‘get rich quick’ scheme and high earnings are not easily achieved. You will get out what you put in, in terms of effort and hard work.

Does stock have to be bought in advance and stored by the distributor?
No. In fact, FLP prefer for distributors to not store stock and simply order products as and when needed.

Are there any restrictions on earnings?
No. The only restriction on how much you can earn, depends on how much you want to earn, and how much time and effort you are willing to put into achieving your goals. There is potential for unlimited, uncapped income.

Are there territories in which you have to sell within?
No. You can retail or recruit into your team, from anywhere in the world. As previously stated, FLP is currently trading in 130 countries around the world and this is growing on a daily basis. It is possible to build a worldwide, international business from the comfort of your own home.

Does someone joining your opportunity have to meet certain criteria or targets?
The only criteria is that you have to be 18 years of age. Apart from that – no.

New information added 10th March 2009

1) Every new distributor will have a 14 day cooling  off period.  This means that if within 14 days of their registration being processed, they should change their mind, they will be entitled to a full refund from Forever Living Products.

2) If at any time after the initial 14 days, a distributor wishes to
terminate their registration, they must notify Forever Living Products in writing and they will receive a refund of any products purchased within the latest 12 month period, minus a 10% handling charge.

3) At the time of registration, the initial outlay is limited to £200 maximum.  This is because the DSA (Direct Selling Assocation - of whom FLP are members) have stipulated that there can only be a  maximum spend of £200 within the first 7 days of a new registration.  After this initial 7 days, a distributor may purchase as much as they choose.
