are the start up costs for your opportunity?
The
basic starter kit costs £95 and the premium kit costs £200.
Both contain everything you need to get your business up and running
(including your annual subscription to your own website).

type of selling is involved?
You can do whatever works for you – Party Plan, sharing
catalogues with friends/family/colleagues, email orders, brochure
drops etc.
What
training and support is offered?
The company provide free training for new consultants including
product training & launches. You also get direct support from
your team leader.
What
products/services do you provide to sell?
Unique,
fashionable and affordable jewellery and accessories (bags, belts
etc). There is also a very popular range of childrens jewellery too.

does your company offer?
Jo
Magdalena offers the opportunity to earn an income through a job
which fits nicely around existing commitments (work/family). In my
case, they have also provided an opportunity to build a team which
I’ve really enjoyed.

What
can someone joining your company realistically expect to earn?
Average Jo Magdalena party
sales in February 2009 meant consultants earned £50 in
commission. Basically, the more parties someone does, the more they
earn!
Does
stock have to be bought in advance and stored by the distributor?
No, in fact the company
discourage you from holding stock. It definitely helps to have some
of the jewellery to show people but you will get a fair amount with
your Starter Kit (12 items with the Standard and over 30 with the
Premium).
Are
there any restrictions on earnings?
No

there territories in which you have to sell within?
No
Does
someone joining your opportunity have to meet certain criteria or
targets?
The only
criterion is to hold 4 parties within 90 days of joining. After
that, there are no targets and you can literally do as much or as
little as you like. You also need to be over 18 to register as a
consultant.
What
sets your opportunity apart from the others?
A
lot of my sales, party bookings have come from people commenting on
my necklace, bracelet etc. What easier way to market your product
than to wear it!?! People love buying jewellery as presents too.
What
are the ways in which you can earn money from your opportunity?
Parties, email orders,
stalls at fairs, repeat orders from past customers, catalogues,
orders via my website.
What
bonuses and incentives do you have and how easily achieved are they?
If
you sell £800 (i.e. 4 average parties) in any one month, then
you get a £25+ bonus in addition to your £200 profit on
the sales.
If
you sell £1600 in any one month, you get a £100+ bonus
If
you sell £2400 in any one month, you get a £225+ bonus
As
a team leader, you also get a percentage of all your teams sales.
The
company runs fantastic incentives throughout the year (Champagne
Tea at The Ritz, Spa Days etc) and which are open to all
consultants.

Yes
Is
there anything else you would like to say about your opportunity?
I
joined in Feb 2008 mainly so I could get all the jewellery I had my
eye on at a discount. 12 months on and I’m a Team Leader and
looking to stop working part-time at my ‘other’ job so I
can collect my daughter from school when she starts in September! I
think Jo Magdalena is an amazing opportunity to be your own boss and
earn a flexible income.
