My name is Simon James, I am 42, married to Jen, who is 36, we have 4 children aged 12 to 19. We also have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 5 rescue rats.
I have been an Avon Representative for 4 years, I started Avon due to ill health. I suffered a stroke the previous year and found I was unable to work a 9 – 5 job. I became a Sales Leader a couple of months later, because I wanted to do something different, without the pressure, and I could see the earning potential.
After 3 years of working part time at Sales leadership, due to Jen being employed full time, our earnings made it possible for Jen to give up her highly stressful job that was making her ill. Jen is now also an Advanced Sales Leader, working toward her Executive status.
Being a Sales Leader has enabled us to pay most of our debts, and we can now enjoy a life without thinking where the next penny is coming from. It has enabled us to be there for the children when ever needed, without worrying about what we have to say to “The Boss”.
